Routine Appointments
Doctors
We are seeing patients face to face as well as doing telephone and online consultations.
We encourage you to choose a doctor or two and stick to them so that you have continuity of care. However if a particular doctor is very booked up you may choose one with a quicker appointment if you need to.
Nurses
Our nursing team see patients face to face, during the day and evenings and are also able to provide advice over the telephone.
Same Day Appointments
If you want urgent medical help we offer same day appointments every day. You should ring between 08:00 and 10:00 or 14:00 and 16:30 and the duty doctor will ring you back and offer advice or a suitable appointment during the day.
We also save a few appointments for emergencies that arise. If it is a life threatening emergency, please call 999 rather than the practice.
If you need to be seen urgently we will fit you in. Please call the practice and explain that it is for an urgent issue.
Late For Your Appointment
Please attend your appointment on time, if you are more than 10 minutes late the doctor will be asked whether you can be seen or need to rebook.
If you are not seen you will not be able to rearrange your appointment until the next working day except in the event of a medical emergency that requires immediate attention.
Cancelling An Appointment
It is important that you inform the reception staff if you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient.
If you are unable to keep an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible, this may enable someone else to be seen. If you fail to notify the practice that you are unable to attend, you will be sent a letter informing you that you have defaulted from your appointment. Persistent defaulters maybe removed from the list.
You can cancel your appointment in any of the following ways:
